VSPN Studio is a dry-hire film and video studio in Springvale, South-East Melbourne. Bring your own producer, director, camera crew, performers and equipment and use the space for music videos, commercials, branded content, fashion films, product video, social campaigns and other controlled productions.

The studio combines a high U-shaped cyclorama, RGB overhead lighting, blackout control and production power in one flexible venue. VSPN’s primary service is studio hire rather than full-service video production. Optional equipment, studio assistance and photography services are available by enquiry and are quoted separately.

The 8 m × 7.2 m × 6 m tri-wall cyclorama gives productions continuous white surfaces for wide shots, movement, performance and clean background control. The maximum ceiling height is 7 m. A raw concrete wall, white wall and paper backdrops provide additional looks within the venue.

The 6 m × 6 m motorised overhead softbox and prop grid houses seven Godox 600 W full-colour RGB LEDs. Blackout blinds and ceiling help control ambient light. Two floor-level 32A 5-pin three-phase outlets are part of the standard studio-hire power specification. A third outlet is located at ceiling height; customer use must be confirmed in advance. VSPN Studio also has a 48 kWh battery backup to keep your booked team on schedule during power outages.

High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a mobile tethering station with a 40-inch colour-calibrated monitor, makeup and dressing space, kitchen, client area and four dedicated parking spaces—two in front of the glass door and two medium-sized car spaces in front of the roller door—help crews work efficiently. Additional gear and studio assistance can be booked when required.

Standard VSPN bookings are for the studio venue and the inclusions listed on the current pricing page. Your team remains responsible for the creative, camera, lighting and production plan unless separate assistance has been confirmed in writing.

You can bring your own cameras, lights, grip, props and crew. The overhead softbox, continuous lighting kits, flash equipment, projector, smoke machine, height adjustment or rigging support and dedicated studio assistance are optional paid items. Photography services can also be arranged by enquiry, but photography is not included in the dry-hire rate. VSPN does not advertise an in-house video production crew or post-production service.

When checking availability, tell VSPN:

• Your preferred date, start time and booking duration.
• The production type and planned visual treatment.
• Your crew, camera, lighting and grip requirements.
• Whether dialogue, live performance audio or other sound-critical recording is required.
• Any overhead lighting, rigging, projector, smoke, set-build or large-item requirements.
• Whether you need equipment, studio support or separately quoted photography services.

VSPN Studio is not fully soundproof. Rain, wind, birds, neighbouring activity or sound transfer from the second studio may occasionally be audible. If clean dialogue, live vocals or sound-critical recording is essential, explain the requirements before booking so timing and available arrangements can be discussed. The building is often quieter after 5:00 pm, but silence cannot be guaranteed. Coordination for a quieter environment is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

It serves production teams across South-East Melbourne with ground-level access, the studio provides 4 dedicated parking spaces: 2 in front of the glass door and 2 medium-sized car spaces in front of the roller door, and client facilities for longer shoots.

Studio access is arranged by confirmed booking, with flexible start and finish times. Ask about early, late, weekend or public-holiday requirements when enquiring; availability and any additional fees must be confirmed in writing.
